Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous awards. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing within an New York family of artists. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide recognition along with the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three years, she was named the most popular female box-office starter in the world. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
