Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a popular American writer of cook books for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. After initially finding the job fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. After selling the store it took her an entire 18 years transforming it into an extremely successful business. Other cookbooks followed, as magazines too. In the meantime, her Food Network show was also successful. She sells many products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She has a complete self-taught. She is a cook who is simple and has her entertaining cooking style. The most well-known recipes are Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
